Designing a two bedroom apartment in the center of Tel Aviv for residents who are very close to my heart - and who have one of the best balconies in the city.

The original layout of the apartment was very inconvenient and impractical: the living room was on one side of the apartment and the kitchen on the other, with a long, narrow hallway at the entrance, bedrooms far apart, and a very old and uncomfortable bathroom.

We completely redesigned the apartment layout: we tore down a lot of walls, added a ceiling beam for reinforcement, relocated plumbing from one side to the other, replaced all the windows throughout the apartment, brought the two bedrooms closer together, and planned an accessible, comfortable bathroom between them.

In the children’s room, we designed a large window divided in height - preparing the space for a sleeping gallery (loft) to be built in the future as the kids grow older.

We kept the color and material palette neutral to serve as a pleasant backdrop for the residents' eclectic, colorful, and vibrant furniture.
