In the original layout, there was a small guest bathroom at the entrance to the home, on the way to the kitchen, and a small service balcony extending from the kitchen. To fulfill the promise of a large kitchen and ample storage, we proposed removing the guest bathroom (as there are two other bathrooms in the apartment) and incorporating the service balcony into the kitchen. This allowed the kitchen to be enlarged, accommodating significantly more counter space and storage.
We redesigned the bathrooms to enlarge the en-suite bathroom, giving them a spacious and luxurious shower and a wide vanity with plenty of storage. We reduced the size of the main bathroom and reorganized the bathtub, toilet, and vanity more efficiently.
The clients, who love bold colors, wanted a painted wall in the kitchen instead of traditional tiles for the backsplash. To make the painted wall easy to clean, we applied a special coating called “Tamglas,” a polyurethane-acrylic paint designed for industrial and marine environments. This paint is used to coat ships, buoys, and above-water structures, and it cleans easily while looking great. 😊
On the balcony, Noa and Yonatan the customers, who (like us) love plants, hired “Pri Megadim,” a company specializing in vertical gardens. They designed a small, stunning vertical garden on the balcony wall. The company provides complete and professional solutions for growing plants in high-rise urban environments. Using custom-sized horizontal planters and an irrigation system, they created a green wall that blocks the view of the neighbors and creates a pastoral atmosphere in the heart of the city.
